Teachers at the Goddard School are responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
Teachers are required to work in conjunction with the entire faculty and under the regulations of the Goddard School standards.
Applicants should meet the following requirements.
Must be able to work 9:
00am-6:
00pm or 8:
00am-5:
00pm Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool or toddler-aged children - Support the lead teacher in creating engaging and educational lesson plans - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a daycare setting - Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the well-being and development of each child - Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting routines - Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children is preferred - Knowledge of early childhood development and curriculum development is a plus - Familiarity with behavior management techniques, particularly for children with special needs, is beneficial - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Note:
